Three to five month completion.
My promise is three to five months completion from the time I receive the cape and deposit to the time it is ready to be delivered. My guarantee is that if it takes me over five months I will refund $100 back to you. Your work will be completed in three to five months guaranteed.
Three to five month turn around time does not compromise the quality of the work. It simply demonstrates good business and good systems.
My tannery is Wildlife Gallery out of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. They’re expensive but they do great work and return tanned capes back to me in around six weeks.
I have a great tannery and a great system that insures quality work and a quick turn around time.
Guaranteed satisfaction or your money back.
If for some reason you are not absolutely, completely, totally thrilled with the quality of your mount, I will do whatever it takes to make you happy, including completely remounting your trophy. If you are still not satisfied I will completely refund your money.
If for any reason I do not refund your money, do poor quality work, or deliver poor service, simply call your outfitter. He will then fire me. That act will cost me many thousands of dollars. Trust me. Money is good, more is better. I do not want to loose the account with your outfitter. I will do whatever it takes to see to it that your experience with Dan French Taxidermy is a wow experience.
Lifetime guarantee
I guarantee that the quality of your mount will last a lifetime. If anything ever goes wrong, years from now, simply take your mount to your local taxidermist, have him make any repairs necessary and I will pay him whatever he charges.
All tanning guaranteed
Any taxidermist that you have ever worked with always puts in his brochure something like ALL TANNING AT OWNERS RISK. This is his attempt to cover himself for his poor quality work or his tanneries poor quality work. It’s just plain bad business. I guarantee my tanning on all head mounts and life size mounts.
Low Freight cost
Because 95% of my customers are out of state hunters, I have worked very hard at making freight costs low. Last year my average freight cost for shoulder mounts were $194 for Elk, $172 for Deer, and $57 for Antelope.
For an average size animal you can expect your freight cost to be somewhere in the neighborhood of $50 for antelope, $75 for deer, $100 for your average elk, and $200 for monster elk. If you live out in the boonies freight cost may be more. I know of no other taxidermist that is able to ship mounts at these low prices.
I will pay the freight when you ship your trophy to me from anywhere in mainland U.S.A. for mounting.
I will pay the freight for any capes and antlers shipped to me for mounting from anywhere in mainland U.S.A. From Alaska or other countries I will pay all the freight or a significant portion of it.
Freeze the cape and ship second day air. On larger animals antlers can be cut in half at the scull plate and placed in a smaller box. Ship on a Monday or Tuesday. You pay for the freight and I will deduct the cost from your bill. Please call me before you ship.
I am an official SCI measurer
I’d be glad to score your antlers or horns, all you have to do is ask. There is no charge for this service.
